About the Role

The Cyber Security Engineer 3 role is a vital position within the Cyber Security IAM Operations team. This role serves as a primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring world-class support and service. The Cyber Security Engineer will engage with various business units across NBCUniversal, providing essential support for Directory Services, DNS, PKI, SSO, PAM, and overall Identity and Access Management.

Responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Engineer 3 on the Identity & Access Management Operations team, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with NBCU Cyber and I&AM teams to advance operational efficiencies.
• Monitoring queues and responding promptly to customer requests related to:
  • DNS (Infoblox, Neustar, Microsoft)
  • Directory Services (Azure AD, Active Directory)
  • Group Management, DFS, and associated services
  • Sailpoint and Waveset
  • IGA system alerts
  • CyberArk and Netwrix operations
• Developing, documenting, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks and service support.
• Supporting audit engagements by compiling reports and remediating identified findings.
• Creating and managing Splunk dashboards for monitoring and analysis.
• Developing PowerShell scripts for automation and efficiency.
• Managing and supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Reviewing Application Monitoring reports to ensure adequate response and alerting mechanisms are in place.
• Assisting in conducting Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for system-level support issues and incidents.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess at least 2 years of experience in the following technical areas:

• Active Directory administration
• DNS administration (Infoblox, Microsoft DNS)
• Domain name administration and registration
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Windows, Linux, and Mac administration and configuration
• Fundamental networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with SQL, Ping, and Azure
• Experience with SailPoint and Tomcat

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While a Bachelor's degree is preferred, Comcast may consider candidates with a combination of relevant coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
