About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisor to join the SAP Asia Pacific Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisory team. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working independently, taking ownership as a subject matter expert, and navigating a dynamic sales environment with a steep learning curve.

The Asia Pacific Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisory team's objective is to drive strategy and planning collaboratively with our customers. We act as advocates for customers on security, privacy, and compliance topics, including AI, aligning with their business strategies. Our goal is to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the selection, onboarding, consumption, and renewal phases of SAP cloud solutions. We support Go-To-Market activities, serving as trusted advisors to both customers and the SAP business, while focusing on thought leadership and consolidating expertise across the SAP Solution Portfolio and third-party solutions.

Responsibilities

Security, privacy, and compliance are critical considerations for customers investing in cloud-based business applications, platforms, and infrastructure. The successful candidate will support sales and customer engagement teams, building trust and addressing customer needs in these areas. Key tasks include:

• Advising key customer technology and business stakeholders on security, privacy, and compliance topics, fostering trust through active engagement and collaboration.
• Leading customer discussions, presentations, and workshops on SAP’s security, privacy, and compliance standards for cloud and hybrid solutions, including AI.
• Coordinating with internal product, corporate security, and compliance teams to serve as a subject matter expert, facilitate compliance, and manage customer escalations.
• Providing expert support for responses to customer and partner inquiries, questionnaires, and risk assessments related to security, privacy, and compliance, including AI.
• Applying and communicating comprehensive knowledge of relevant and evolving security and privacy regulations and frameworks in India, with a specific focus on Public Sector and Regulated Industries.
• Educating SAP customers, partners, and internal teams on the security, privacy, and compliance aspects of SAP Cloud solutions, including AI, through regular interaction and the creation of scalable digital assets.

Qualifications and Skills

• Executive Presence: Strong business communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to C-level executives and board members.
• Cloud Competence: Solid working knowledge of security and compliance considerations for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lifelong Learner: Demonstrated passion for self-development to gain in-depth understanding of SAP's security strategy, solution portfolio, regulatory requirements, industry trends, and executive presence.

Work Experience

• Significant experience in cyber security or related technical and compliance domains, particularly with Public Sector and Regulated Industries.
• Broad knowledge of the SAP solutions portfolio is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud security and compliance, including AI, is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, or other major cyber security certifications are preferred.
