PwC Cyber Data & Tech Risk Managed Services is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer for a Senior Associate role to deliver strategic cybersecurity solutions. This position is responsible for the end-to-end engineering, implementation, and operational support of Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities within enterprise client environments. The role emphasizes Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Access Management (AM), focusing on secure identity lifecycle processes, automation, and continuous improvement to ensure governance, compliance, and audit readiness. Collaboration with clients, internal teams, and global experts is key to driving cyber resilience and innovation. The role requires hands-on technical delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across cyber managed services programs. Key responsibilities include sharing and collaborating effectively, identifying improvements, validating data, adhering to risk and compliance procedures, and staying updated on industry developments. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is an understanding of the wider economy and client business models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery & Operations: Provide operational support for IGA, PAM, and AM platforms, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and break/fix. Execute standard changes, support platform upgrades, and participate in on-call rotations and incident response. Handle L3 escalations for IAM incidents and complex service requests. Lead complex application onboarding, from requirements gathering to end-to-end validation.
- Engineering, Automation & Continuous Improvement: Design and implement automation for identity lifecycle processes and privileged access. Create performance dashboards to identify improvement opportunities. Contribute to platform hardening and secure-by-default patterns. Provide architecture guidance and solution design for IAM capabilities. Deliver strategic recommendations and roadmaps for IAM tooling and process enhancements. Plan and execute IAM tool migrations and platform transitions.
- Governance, Compliance & Reporting: Ensure IAM activities comply with PwC policies, client governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Support audits by producing evidence of IAM controls and process adherence. Assist in preparing status reports for stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree.
- Over 5 years of hands-on IAM engineering, implementation, and operations support experience.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- Relevant experience in end-to-end support of IAM services.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, CCSP, or equivalent are desirable.
- IAM-specific certifications (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Microsoft SC-300) are advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in IGA (SailPoint, Saviynt), PAM (CyberArk, Delinea), and AM (Ping, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID) platforms.
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management (ITIL, ServiceNow, Jira).
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Ruby) and REST APIs for automation.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT security, risk, and compliance.
- Monitoring service health, supporting SLAs, and performing root cause analysis.

- Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, Python, Ruby, REST APIs
- Support & Management Platforms: ServiceNow, Jira, Git
- Databases & Protocols: SQL (MSSQL/Oracle), Java fundamentals, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
