Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst for Societe Generale Global Solution Centre Private Limited in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. This permanent role requires an individual contributor with 3-5 years of experience in risk security, security assessment, and controls performance. You will assist the functional manager in daily security activities and operations, handle larger assignments independently, and analyze problem statements to define and execute solutions. The role involves mentoring team members, adhering to defined processes and frameworks, providing regular functional updates, and prioritizing deliverables in consultation with management.

Key responsibilities include contributing to functional initiatives, onboarding new colleagues, collaborating on transversal projects, and enhancing operational efficiency by implementing control improvements and driving automation initiatives with the Automation team. A strong focus will be placed on moving controls to a data lake environment and achieving positive KPIs through data lake integration.

The ideal candidate will possess logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and good general knowledge of IT and IT security. Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills are essential for working with all management levels. While not mandatory, French speaking ability is a plus. You should be a strong team player, able to build effective working relationships, and demonstrate autonomy and proactiveness with a proven understanding of applied risks and security practices in the IT domain. Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, or ISO27001 are advantageous. We are looking for a quick learner who proactively takes ownership and operates independently with complete ownership over assigned objectives in a semi-structured environment.
