Join General Mills India's Global Shared Services (GSS) team as a Data Analyst, integral to our Contingent Workforce Management (CWM) Program. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our global contingent workforce, with a strong focus on data integrity and program enhancement. You will be instrumental in collecting, validating, and maintaining accurate data within our Vendor Management System (VMS), Workday VNDLY. Your responsibilities will include data audits, reconciliation, and supporting bulk data uploads, while also providing guidance to VMS users. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic projects aimed at globalizing and improving our contingent workforce program, participating in planning, execution, and user acceptance testing. This hybrid role operates on a shift timing of 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST and offers a dynamic environment for professional growth. We seek a candidate with strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach. As part of GSS, you'll contribute to delivering service excellence and driving scaled, cost-efficient operations across the General Mills enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management & VMS Support: Collect, compile, and validate contingent worker data; prepare data for bulk uploads to Workday VNDLY; perform regular data audits and reconciliation; support VMS users with data-related inquiries; and assist in creating VMS reports and dashboards.
  • Program Globalization & Project Support: Collaborate on global expansion and standardization of the CWM program; participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring for program enhancements and system integrations; support VMS-specific projects, including testing and feature rollouts; conduct research to support program design and process improvement; assist in developing training materials; and support change management efforts.
  • Operational & Team Support: Provide backup support for requisition management during peak periods.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses for strategic decision-making; contribute to program metrics and KPI development.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in a data-focused role, HR operations, procurement, or contingent workforce management. Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), particularly Workday VNDLY, is highly preferred. Proven experience with data collection, validation, and analysis. Experience supporting global projects is a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data manipulation), excellent attention to detail, solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment is key.
