Job Summary
This role is responsible for providing all necessary resources and logistics to perform services and maintenance activities at customer sites. These duties involve maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products, encompassing all forms of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), managing maintenance facilities, and supporting field service engineers. The position requires accountability for the quality of one's work and operates under direct operational supervision and prescribed work instructions. Work is performed within a defined operational framework, typically following a step-by-step sequence of standard tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Technical: Maintain specific models within the assigned modality and area.
- Electronic/Mechanical: Perform troubleshooting on complex, multi-symptom problems at the total system level.
- Customer Satisfaction: Serve as a daily point of contact for doctors and technicians regarding equipment status. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and provide training to others as needed. Identify sales opportunities and communicate them to the account team.
- Business Growth: Contribute to the growth and direction of the business within the assigned geographic area.
- Productivity: Manage costs associated with warranty and planned maintenance (PMS) contracts.
- Administration: Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner. Ensure prompt documentation of Field Maintenance Inspections (FMIs) and PMS inspections for assigned accounts.
- Installation: Take a leading role in complex and multifunctional room installations. Share best practices and maintain quality systems compliant with ISO 9001 and GE Service Quality policies.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2+ years of Field Services experience with strong technical analytical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Diagnostic Imaging (DI) equipment.
- Experience in diagnostic imaging modality is a plus.
- Solid understanding of basic electronics.
