What You’ll Do
- Conduct brief, structured interviews with educators, parents, and students across diverse geographical locations and market segments.
- Utilize pre-defined questions provided by the Researcher for each study, adapting fluidly to the customer's conversational style and pace.
- Practice active listening to identify key drivers of satisfaction, engagement, or potential churn.
- Accurately record customer verbatim, capturing tone and emotions, not just factual answers.
- Document quantitative insights derived from conversations, such as the frequency of mentions for specific pain points.
- Collaborate closely with the Researcher to ensure interviews effectively address the quarterly research objectives, which may include understanding renewal drivers, identifying experience gaps, or pinpointing communication triggers.
- Participate in weekly debrief sessions to present observations, share compelling quotes, and highlight recurring themes.
What You’ll Bring
- 2 to 6 years of experience in a customer-centric or communication-intensive role, such as Customer Experience, Operations, Research, Sales, or Community Management.
- Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills; proficiency in at least one Indian regional language is advantageous.
- Outstanding conversational skills and innate empathy, with a genuine enjoyment for listening and encouraging openness.
- Strong listening abilities and inherent curiosity, driven by a desire to understand individuals and their motivations.
- The capacity to ask insightful follow-up questions to uncover the underlying reasons for customer sentiments.
- Comfort with organizing data, meticulous note-taking, and identifying patterns.
- Bonus points for prior experience with user interviews, customer feedback analysis, or NPS programs.
