Custom Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer to design and develop scalable web applications, microservices, and APIs using modern frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess strong backend development expertise with experience in Node.js and Java.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable web-based applications using Java and/or Node.js.
• Develop and integrate microservices, APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot defects and deliver secure, reliable solutions.

Technical Experience

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development. Candidates should have:

• Minimum 3 years developing web applications using Java or Node.js.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, microservices architecture, and API integration.
• 2+ years working with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Mandatory Skills

You must be proficient in Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express.js/AEM), Docker, Kubernetes, and have knowledge of SQL/JSON/XML. Experience with Postman/SOAPUI is a plus.

Location Details: The role must be based in Pune, Maharashtra. You should either reside in Pune or be willing to relocate to our Hinjewadi client location.
Shift Timing: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (with an expectation of working onsite at the Hinjewadi office 3 days per week).

Educational Requirement: Minimum 5 years full time education is required.
