Custom Software Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring a Custom Software Engineer for Pune Division, India (Onsite). This is a contract position lasting 12 months to support a leading global professional services company in building digital cores and optimizing operations.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• S/4 ABAP development knowledge
• In-depth experience with SAP FICA modules (Utilities sector)
• Analyze and resolve medium-to-complex defects using HPQC debuggers
• Hands-on coding on ISU/FICA objects including payment posting, accounting write-offs, returns, installment plans, and dunning processes
• Mastery of RICEFW implementation logic
• Daily operational support for user issues

Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, analytical thinking, presentation capabilities, and decisive problem-solving. Knowledge of SAP ISU billing is a plus.
