Custom Software Engineer

About the Role

As a Custom Software Engineer at Accenture in Pune, you will be instrumental in developing bespoke software solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, and enhancing components across diverse systems and applications. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that precisely align with specific business requirements. Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deeply understand business needs, problem-solving to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of software components, and contributing to the overall enhancement of system performance. You are expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding and managing the team's performance and making critical decisions. You will also engage with multiple teams, providing solutions that address immediate team challenges and extend to broader organizational needs. Mentoring junior team members to foster their professional development and continuously evaluating and improving development processes are key aspects of this role.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in React.js.
• Participate in the design and technical analysis of frontend components for web applications (React/JS).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ship new features to production.
• Work with third-party data sources and APIs to integrate necessary services into the frontend.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Provide optimal technical solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, architects, backend development teams, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products.
• Support colleagues in maintaining their development environment on supplied hardware (e.g., MacBook).
• Be part of a strong international team, contributing to project success through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in React.js.
• The candidate is required to work from the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune, for 3 days per week, as per the mandate.
• A 15-year full-time education is required.
