Custom Software Engineer

Accenture is seeking a Custom Software Engineer in Pune to design, code, and enhance components across systems and applications. This role involves developing custom software solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

The ideal candidate will possess an AI-first mindset, with a strong understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI frameworks, particularly within SAP platforms. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and implementing AI-driven enhancements to traditional SAP processes, driving enterprise automation and intelligence. As an Application Developer, you will collaborate with teams to understand needs, develop innovative solutions, and ensure applications align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include end-to-end AI-enabled project delivery, from requirement gathering to business adoption. You will work with real-time AI platforms, integrating AI insights into enterprise decision-making workflows, and manage development processes to deliver high-quality applications.

Must-have skills include: Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting, strong understanding of application development methodologies, experience with SAP SuccessFactors integration, familiarity with user experience design principles, and the ability to troubleshoot application issues.

Professional & Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in GenAI (LLMs, embeddings, vector databases) and Agentic AI applications (multi-agent systems, planning, reasoning), strong fundamental knowledge of AI lifecycle, data analysis, ML algorithms, Neural Networks, and Natural Language Processing. Solid grasp of prompt engineering, AI evaluation frameworks, and value realization in AI projects.

A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, with an additional note specifying a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting. Educational qualification requires 15 years of full-time education.
