Custom Software Engineer

As a Custom Software Engineer at Accenture in Pune, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing robust software components across various systems and applications. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing custom software solutions that precisely meet specific business needs. This role requires a strong command of PTC Windchill, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. You will be expected to act as a subject matter expert (SME) in PTC Windchill, guiding the team on technical and functional aspects, collaborating with multiple teams to drive critical solution decisions, and taking ownership of customization, configuration, and problem resolution. Your responsibilities will include leading knowledge-sharing sessions, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring project progress aligns with client expectations. Proficiency in PTC Windchill customization, workflows, and integrations is essential, alongside strong skills in Java, JSP, Windchill APIs, and UI customization. Experience with deployment, upgrades, and migration, along with familiarity with Agile/Scrum, configuration tools (Git/SVN), and CI/CD, is also a key requirement.
