Custom Software Engineer

We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing software components across various systems and applications. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions meticulously tailored to specific business requirements.

As an Application Lead, you will guide the effort to design, build, and configure applications, serving as the primary point of contact. Your daily activities will involve close collaboration with diverse teams to achieve project milestones, facilitating discussions to resolve challenges, and directing your team in implementing effective solutions. Furthermore, you will participate in strategic planning sessions to align project objectives with organizational goals, ensuring that developed applications meet both user needs and technical specifications. Your leadership will be crucial in cultivating an environment that promotes innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Expected to function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Collaborate with and manage the team to ensure optimal performance.
• Take ownership of team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key strategic decisions.
• Provide solutions to technical problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill and knowledge enhancement.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to review progress and address any impediments.

Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with web services and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A full-time education spanning 15 years is a prerequisite.
