Custom Software Engineer - AI-First SAP Solutions

Accenture is seeking a forward-thinking Custom Software Engineer with an AI-first mindset to design, develop, and deploy intelligent frameworks leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI within SAP platforms. This role is based in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various Business Functions and a passion for innovation in AI, backed by rich experience in delivering enterprise-grade technology solutions using GenAI and Agentic AI Frameworks. You will conceptualize and implement AI-driven enhancements to traditional SAP processes, driving the next generation of enterprise automation and intelligence.

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience in AI and SAP.
• Visualize innovative solutions leveraging GenAI Agentic architecture and the best available technologies from SAP and other providers.
• Engage in end-to-end AI-enabled project delivery: requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, and business adoption.
• Work with real-time AI platforms, integrating AI insights into enterprise decision-making workflows.
• Exhibit strong influencing and advisory skills.
• Be responsible for team decisions and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.
• Provide solutions to cross-team problems.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders.
• Mentor junior professionals in best practices and application development methodologies.

Professional Technical Skills:

• Ability to bridge technical AI concepts with business goals, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Hands-on experience in GenAI (LLMs, embeddings, vector databases) and Agentic AI applications (multi-agent systems, planning, reasoning) demonstrated through project implementations.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of the AI lifecycle, data analysis, statistical concepts of ML algorithms (supervised and unsupervised learning), and AI concepts of NN (Neural Networks) and NLP (Natural Language Processing).
• Solid grasp of prompt engineering, AI evaluation frameworks, and value realization in AI projects.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management.
• Strong understanding of application development frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with the integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with database management and data modeling techniques.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.

Minimum experience required: 5 years. The advertisement also mentions a need for 15 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management for qualification.

Educational Qualification: 15 years of full-time education.
