About this Role
As a Custom Software Engineer based in Chennai, you will design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You must have proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter with at least 3 years of experience to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Daily Responsibilities
- Create tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications.
- Work closely with team members to ensure that the solutions are scalable and perform efficiently using modern development frameworks and agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software components.
- Maintain and enhance existing software systems to improve functionality and user experience.
Key Requirements
You are expected to perform independently, become a Subject Matter Expert (SME), actively contribute in team discussions, provide solutions to work-related problems, document development processes for knowledge sharing, and assist junior members. Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle, agile methodologies, performance optimization, code quality best practices, integration of modules, and troubleshooting complex technical issues is essential.
