Accenture is seeking a Custom Software Engineer for their Chennai, Tamil Nadu office. Key Responsibilities

• Manage Elasticsearch deployments, configurations, and scaling in distributed environments.
• Oversee cluster health, implement performance tuning, and conduct capacity planning.
• Develop and optimize indexing strategies, shard management, and query performance for enhanced search capabilities.
• Design and maintain robust ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) solutions for comprehensive log analytics and system observability.
• Lead the troubleshooting of cluster issues, node failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and application teams to streamline data ingestion pipelines and integrate monitoring solutions.
• Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable search and analytics solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Elastic Stack (ELK).
• 7+ years of experience in Search, Log Analytics, or Observability platforms.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Elasticsearch / ELK Stack in enterprise settings.
• Strong proficiency in Elasticsearch cluster architecture and administration.
• Experience with Logstash, Beats, and Kibana dashboard creation.
• Solid experience with Linux administration and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and observability platforms.
• Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Elastic Certified Engineer certification.
• Elastic Certified Observability Engineer certification.

Location and Education

• This role is based at our Accenture office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
• A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
