Project Role: Custom Software Engineer

We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will develop custom software solutions, designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver enterprise-grade, full-stack solutions, utilizing AI tools for accelerated development.
• Act as a liaison between traditional engineering teams and AI-native specialists to enhance productivity and scalability.
• Define end-to-end architecture for full-stack enterprise applications, integrating AI copilots, pre-built AI services, and APIs.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC, security, and performance standards.
• Utilize AI tools and LLM-based copilots for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and design acceleration.
• Incorporate AI services (e.g., RAG-based retrieval, conversational APIs) into enterprise systems.
• Architect scalable front-end and back-end solutions using modern frameworks and cloud-native patterns.
• Optimize API design, data flows, and UI/UX for AI-assisted features.
• Collaborate with traditional engineering teams and AI-native squads to drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices.
• Maintain architectural integrity, scalability, and reliability, enforcing responsible AI usage and guardrails.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Solid foundation in enterprise engineering, SDLC, and domain/industry workflows.
• Demonstrated capability in using copilots and LLM tools for software development tasks.
• Practical understanding of AI concepts like RAG and limitations of LLMs.
• Ability to deliver faster, higher-quality outcomes by combining human judgment with AI-assisted productivity.
• Focus on integration and productivity uplift, not model training or ML architecture design.

Programming & Full-Stack Skills:

• Backend (Any 1 or more): Java (Spring Boot) for microservices and API integration; .NET (C#) for enterprise application frameworks; Python for scripting, automation, and AI API integration.
• Frontend: React, Angular, or Vue.js for responsive UI development.
• Languages: TypeScript / JavaScript for modern front-end engineering.
• Additional: SQL/NoSQL databases, REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud-native skills (Azure/AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines.

Minimum Experience: 18 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development is required.

Educational Qualification: 15 years of full-time education is required.
