Project Role : Custom Software Engineer
Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka
Roles & Responsibilities :
The role involves designing and developing high-performance infotainment applications for automotive platforms using Android Automotive OS (AAOS). Candidates will lead full-stack architecture, integrate with Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) via AIDL/HIDL, and optimize system services. Key duties include mentoring junior developers, ensuring functional safety compliance (ISO 26262), cybersecurity adherence (ASPICE/ISO SAE 21434), and managing CI/CD workflows.
Key Requirements :
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Android development with a strong focus on automotive/embedded domains.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C++, NDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.
- Deep expertise in AAOS, HAL communication (VHAL), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, CAN protocols, and media/navigation integration.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive fields.
