Custom Software Engineer

We are seeking a forward-thinking Custom Software Engineer with an AI-first mindset to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade solutions using Generative and Agentic AI frameworks to drive innovation, efficiency, and business transformation. You will lead AI-driven solution design and delivery by applying GenAI and Agentic AI to address complex business challenges, automate processes, and integrate intelligent insights into enterprise workflows for measurable impact. The role requires independent performance and becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME), active participation in team discussions, and contributing solutions to work-related problems. You will also assist in documenting application processes and workflows and engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom software solutions, designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems or applications.
• Utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• Lead AI-driven solution design and delivery by applying GenAI and Agentic AI to address complex business challenges, automate processes, and integrate intelligent insights into enterprise workflows for measurable impact.
• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Actively participate and contribute in team discussions.
• Provide solutions to work-related problems.
• Assist in the documentation of application processes and workflows.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Professional Technical Skills:

• Strong grasp of Generative and Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation frameworks. Ability to align AI capabilities with business objectives while ensuring scalability, responsible use, and tangible value realization.
• Proficiency in Workday Core HCM is a must-have.
• Strong understanding of application development methodologies.
• Experience with system integration and data migration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.
• Familiarity with user interface design principles.

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Workday Core HCM and a total of 3 years of relevant experience. A 15-year full-time education is mandatory.
