Cultivation Technician

As a Cultivation Technician in Waterfall, PA, you will be instrumental in our day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of cultivation tasks, from plant propagation and meticulous environmental monitoring to ensuring strict adherence to state regulations. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality control, and the ability to work effectively within a team-focused environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Propagation: Executing plant propagation through cuttings, maintaining clone health, managing watering and feeding schedules, and overseeing the Clone and Mother Rooms. Accurate labeling, inventory tracking, and data entry into state-mandated systems are crucial.
• Environmental Monitoring: Continuously monitoring and reporting on environmental factors such as light, temperature, humidity, and nutrient levels to ensure optimal plant growth and adherence to quality standards.
• Pest & Disease Management: Inspecting crops for pests and diseases and implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies under direction.
• Plant Care: Providing comprehensive care for plants during vegetative and generative growth stages, including transplanting, de-foliation, pruning, staking, and training. This involves monitoring climate control systems and pest pressure, and inputting inventory data.
• Harvesting & Processing: Executing all phases of harvesting, including cutting, breaking down plants, de-foliation, weighing, and data entry. Responsibilities also extend to cleaning and sanitizing grow rooms, organizing harvested plants for drying and curing, and monitoring the drying/curing environment. Preparation and packaging of cannabis products may be required during peak periods.
• System Maintenance: Operating and maintaining cultivation systems and equipment, including lighting, irrigation, and climate control. This includes monitoring, calibration, troubleshooting, stocking supplies, and ensuring the sanitation of growing areas and equipment.
• Compliance: Ensuring daily adherence to all company policies, state regulations, security protocols, and standard operating procedures across all production areas.
• Additional tasks as assigned by management.
