Crypto Data Engineer Intern

Token Metrics is seeking a talented Big Data Engineer intern to support our Data Scientists and Engineering team in Delhi. This 3-month, evaluative, and unpaid internship offers a unique opportunity to develop frameworks for data preparation using SQL, Python, R, Java, and C++. You will employ machine learning techniques to build and maintain data analysis structures, staying current with leading programming and deployment strategies. Collaboration with colleagues is essential to ensure project objectives are met. This role may lead to a return offer based on company needs.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to identify and resolve issues, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to define project goals and create efficient, cohesive code that improves user experience.
• Generate innovative ideas for new programs, products, or features by keeping abreast of industry advancements and emerging trends.
• Record and report data accurately to relevant stakeholders, including clients and leadership.
• Engage in continuous learning and training to stay updated on best practices, acquire new programming language proficiency, and effectively support team members.
• Take ownership of projects as required.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related discipline is required.
• Additional educational background or practical experience may be beneficial.
• Proficiency in languages such as Java, PHP, or Python, and familiarity with operating systems may be necessary.
• A solid grasp of the web development lifecycle, programming techniques, and relevant tools is expected.
• A keen focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement is valued.
• Exceptional project and time management capabilities are essential.
