Credit Research

Sutherland Global Services is actively seeking a Credit Analyst to join their esteemed Credit Research Team in Navi Mumbai. This role involves working closely with a group of investment professionals to provide ongoing monitoring and coverage for an invested portfolio. You will also collaborate with the broader Credit Research team, acting as a virtual front-end analyst for clients to identify potential investment opportunities and track their performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, analyze capital structures, and build other investment-related infrastructure to support client investments across diverse sectors.
• Ensure comprehensive portfolio coverage by updating financial models, summarizing earnings, and staying abreast of regular news affecting portfolio companies.
• Thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and dynamic work environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively and remain calm under demanding conditions.
• Exhibit strong teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with individuals of diverse talents and personalities to achieve the common goal of successfully managing large investment portfolios.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively convey research findings and insights.

Qualifications:

• Master of Commerce (M.Com.), Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), or Master of Business Administration (MBA), preferably with a background in commerce or equivalent in Finance.
• A minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 2 years of experience in financial research or data analysis, with a preference for experience in the credit domain covering corporate entities.
• A solid understanding of fundamental financial concepts, including the three core financial statements, capital structure analysis, and proven proficiency in building historical financial models.
