Credit Portfolio Officer

Citi, a premier global bank, seeks a highly skilled Credit Portfolio Officer at the Vice President level. This critical role involves leading credit review and approval processes, meticulously monitoring the credit portfolio, and proactively identifying potential credit migration in close collaboration with our esteemed Risk Management team. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement in Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing comprehensive frameworks for portfolio risk assessment, evaluating credit and financial performance across diverse lending products and industry sectors.
• Demonstrating a thorough understanding of applicable credit policies, industry regulations, and their impact on prospective partners and new product initiatives.
• Establishing and nurturing robust cross-functional partnerships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Leveraging Statistical Analysis System (SAS) within a UNIX environment to conduct in-depth risk, financial, and data analyses, including profiling, sampling, forecasting, and due diligence for new programs.
• Preparing insightful risk management presentations for senior leadership, featuring analytics on expected portfolio performance and identifying areas of potential risk and opportunity.
• Operating with a significant degree of autonomy and independence, requiring limited direct supervision.
• Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for senior stakeholders and team members.
• Exercising sound judgment in business decision-making, with a keen focus on safeguarding Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policies, and by applying ethical conduct in all business practices. This includes transparent escalation and management of control issues.
