Coordinator

CAPREIT is actively seeking a dynamic Coordinator, Internal Culture to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This pivotal role is designed to support and enhance our ongoing culture, engagement, inclusion, and community initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in coordinating a variety of programs and events, providing essential administrative support, and contributing to communications efforts aimed at fostering a positive and vibrant organizational culture.

Key responsibilities include providing organizational support to internal committees and working groups by managing meeting schedules, preparing agendas, documenting discussions, and tracking action items. You will also be hands-on in coordinating culture, engagement, DEI, and leadership development initiatives, handling logistics, documentation, and follow-ups for forums, conferences, workshops, and other people-focused events.

Furthermore, this role involves supporting the planning and execution of employee events, social initiatives, and cultural celebrations, including vendor coordination and material preparation. You will assist with CAPREIT's charitable and community endeavors through CAPGiving, supporting fundraising campaigns, volunteer activities, and communications. Research and benchmarking will be conducted to inform programming and identify best practices. Developing post-activity summaries and supporting internal communications are also key aspects of this position.
