About the Role

We are seeking a (Contractor) Senior Lead Flutter/Dart Mobile Engineer at Sparq to lead design, development, and maintenance of production-grade mobile applications using Flutter and Dart. The focus is on reliability, performance, offline functionality, and AI-enabled delivery.

Daily Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a shared offline package supporting local caching, queued operations, background synchronization, and connectivity state management.
• Integrate offline capabilities into Workforce Tools (WFHQ), ensuring consistent data handling across applications.
• Implement local data persistence strategies for intermittent or lost connectivity scenarios.
• Develop conflict resolution mechanisms to maintain data integrity between local storage and server-side information.
• Create intuitive indicators for data age to prevent unsafe actions with stale data.
• Leverage hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) for development, troubleshooting, optimization, and testing.
• Execute comprehensive unit and integration tests covering offline functionality, app restarts, synchronization recovery, and extended offline scenarios.
