Key Responsibilities:

• Review post-charge off accounts for disposition and present planned collection action recommendations to management for resolution.
• Contact account holders to arrange payment, payment plans, or settlement of accounts in accordance with business parameters.
• Recommend collection accounts for assignment to Collection/Legal, ensuring complete documentation for maximum recovery.
• Prepare accounts for placement and provide required supporting documentation.
• Document all collection attempts and activities in Salesforce or other designated repositories.
• Utilize commercially reasonable collection tactics to resolve assigned accounts.
• Uphold integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information at all times.

Qualifications:

• Required: Proven consumer collections experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide accurate, timely resolutions to customer inquiries and issues.
• Strong analytical abilities to gather and interpret data for moderately complex problems.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills with strong organizational abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong capacity for performing meticulous tasks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of managing cross-functional communication at various levels.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Proficiency in word processing and Excel spreadsheet software.
• Required: Thorough knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
