Key Responsibilities:

As a Consultant in our Cybersecurity practice, you will work within IT Risk and Security, engaging in cyber security assessments and delivering security implementations or remediation programs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering information security projects as part of an integrated team of Advisory professionals.
• Defining technical and business requirements for information security solutions.
• Establishing information security processes and policies to secure and enable the business.
• Enforcing business, privacy, and security policies.
• Implementing IT and information security-related technology products.
• Reviewing, assessing, benchmarking, and developing issue remediation action plans for information security programs and technologies.
• Developing information security strategies, architectures, and implementation plans.
• Performing basic supervisory duties, mentoring, and coaching junior staff.
• Developing team members through effective delegation and guidance.
• Assigning and reviewing the work of junior employees and assisting in the preparation of final work products to ensure high-quality standards.
• Providing performance feedback, training, and conducting performance reviews.
• Fostering an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

Essential for this role is experience in information and cyber security. While a Big 4 background or comparable consulting experience is beneficial, EY provides ongoing training and support to develop consulting skills. We welcome applicants with industry experience and a broad background in security. Experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous:

• Security methods such as vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, and governance.
• Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.), and application programming/scripting languages (C, Java, Perl, Shell).

Capability and Experience in the Following Areas:

• Attack & Penetration Testing / Ethical Hacking
• Cyber Incident Response
• Cyber Strategy & Programme Assessment

Qualifications:

• A degree in engineering (B.E. or B.Tech) and a Master's in Business Administration.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience post-graduate qualification.
• Additional relevant Security-related Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Certifications: Relevant security certification, Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to client deliverables and technical content.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent leadership and teaming skills.
• Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment.
• Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
