The opportunity
EY is seeking a Senior Consultant/Consultant with expertise in Analytics, particularly within the Banking and Insurance industries (though not mandatory). This role is based in New Delhi, India.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop Analytics Based Decision Making Frameworks for clients, primarily in the Banking and Insurance sectors.
- Manage projects effectively.
- Oversee client relationships and management.
- Support business development initiatives and the creation of new analytics solutions.
Skills and attributes for success
- Domain expertise in Banking or Insurance is advantageous.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling techniques such as Logistic/Linear regression, GLM modeling, Time-series forecasting, and Scorecard development.
- Hands-on experience with statistical tools like SAS, Python, and R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Qlikview is a plus.
- Experience in data mining techniques, including Clustering and Segmentation.
- Experience with machine learning and Python is a plus.
To qualify for the role you must have
- A B.Tech degree from a top-tier engineering school or a Master's degree in Statistics/Economics from a top university.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience. For Senior Consultant, at least 1 year of managerial experience is required.
- For Associate Consultant, a minimum of 1 year of experience is needed. For Consultant, a minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
Ideally you’ll also have
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High levels of flexibility, adaptability, and creativity.
- Comfort interacting with senior executives, both within EY and at client organizations.
- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
