About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and meticulous Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dedicated quality assurance team. This position requires a solid grasp of Core Java, SOLID principles, and multithreading, along with practical experience in Spring Boot and Spring Test.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with development and QA teams to understand application requirements and develop robust test strategies.
• Create and manage automated test scripts using Core Java and the Spring Test framework.
• Execute test cases to verify software quality and functionality.
• Apply SOLID principles in the design and implementation of test automation.
• Leverage multithreading concepts to effectively test concurrent applications.
• Contribute to code reviews and enhance overall testing practices.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Support the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of Core Java and object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and their application in software development.
• Familiarity with multithreading concepts and testing multithreaded applications.
• Experience with Spring Boot for application development and testing.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks, especially Spring Test.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
