EY is seeking a skilled Android SDET with a strong background in Kotlin to join our dynamic team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for our Android applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for Android applications using Kotlin.
• Develop and maintain test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mobile testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Android applications.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Android SDK.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Espresso, JUnit, or UI Automator.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of mobile application security testing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
