About the Role
HSBC is seeking a Consultant Specialist (Senior UX/UI Designer) for our Pune, India office. In this senior capacity, you will lead end-to-end user experience design from discovery and research to high-fidelity prototyping and usability testing.
- Design Leadership: Define interaction models, visual direction, and content strategy while partnering with engineers to deliver polished, accessible UIs using ReactJs, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Tech Stack: Build responsive layouts, micro-interactions, and component libraries; integrate front-end apps via RESTful APIs. Knowledge of Python/FastAPI is a plus.
- Collaboration: Translate requirements into build-ready designs for dashboards, onboarding flows, and transactional systems using Figma.
- Influence & Mentorship: Drive design consistency across products through critiques and workshops; mentor peers to uphold quality standards.
Requirements
You will bring 6+ years of experience in product/design engineering with a strong portfolio showing measurable outcomes. Proficiency in accessibility (WCAG), inclusive design, and stakeholder management is essential for this Pune-based role.
