Computer Vision Engineer at Tringapps Research Labs

Tringapps Research Labs is seeking a skilled Computer Vision Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced computer vision algorithms and models for diverse applications, including object detection, image classification, text detection and OCR, face detection, generative models, and video analytics.
• Optimize and fine-tune existing models for enhanced speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate computer vision solutions into scalable products.
• Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision techniques and technologies.
• Work with large-scale datasets, leveraging distributed training and inference methods for efficient model development and deployment.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in computer vision, machine learning, and related fields to address business challenges effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master's or Ph.D. is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of overall professional experience, with at least 2 years specifically in Computer Vision, Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, or a comparable role.
• Strong proficiency in Python is required. Experience with additional languages such as Node.js, JavaScript, or Java is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with popular machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
• Familiarity with essential computer vision tools and libraries, including CUDA, OpenCL, OpenGL, and OpenCV.
• Demonstrated success in delivering computer vision projects, with expertise in areas such as object detection, image classification, text detection & OCR, face detection, generative models, video analytics, and model compression/optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
