Computer Vision / AI Engineer Co

Role Overview

D3 Embedded is actively recruiting an enthusiastic engineering student for a Co-op position within our Computer Vision and AI team. As a Computer Vision / AI Engineer Co-op, you will play a pivotal role in the research, development, optimization, and deployment of perception and machine learning solutions designed specifically for embedded and edge platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to translate high-level design specifications into functional prototypes using Python and C++.
• Develop, optimize, and deploy computer vision algorithms (e.g., object detection, pose estimation) on resource-constrained edge devices such as NVIDIA Jetson or Intel Movidius.
• Perform model training, evaluation, and fine-tuning utilizing deep learning frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX.
• Support hardware bring-up activities and ensure seamless software integration within existing embedded systems.
• Maintain code quality through active participation in reviews, documentation efforts, and debugging of AI-based applications using Git version control.
