Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist - Hyderabad
Wells Fargo is seeking a dedicated Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and accurate servicing of commercial loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive servicing activities for commercial loan products of low to moderate complexity.
- Manage and resolve customer service issues, acting as a primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, loan administration, and regulatory diligence, ensuring strict adherence to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately evaluate and upload data into our systems of record.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, and various Operations teams to address customer-focused needs and drive progress.
- Review and negotiate basic loan servicing transactions, assess associated risks, and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
- Identify and recommend procedural modifications to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Serve as an escalation point for resolving complex client issues.
- Provide guidance and training to peers, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
- Consult with colleagues and management to resolve issues and achieve departmental goals.
- Present well-reasoned recommendations for addressing low to moderately complex situations, exercising independent judgment while building expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
What You'll Need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Loan Servicing, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
We'd Love to See:
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as VBA, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Ability to create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and KPI development.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau for data visualization, storytelling, data blending, and dashboard publishing.
- Proven experience in developing VBA macros for Excel automation, including custom scripts, automating repetitive tasks, and building user forms.
- Understanding of ETL processes, data flows, and dataset preparation.
- Capability to integrate data from multiple systems and develop structured reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools like Python, R, or Alteryx.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS for data storage or analytics.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
- Familiarity with Commercial Lending principles and Loan IQ systems.
About the Role:
This is a production and MIS role focused on performing daily operational tasks (BAU) and actively engaging in data management. You will be expected to possess strong data analysis capabilities to interpret trends, identify anomalies, and deliver actionable insights. Translating business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions will be key. Proficiency in validating data accuracy and implementing data quality checks is essential. Excellent communication skills are required for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and leadership. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines is critical. A detail-oriented and proactive problem-solving approach is highly valued. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
