Cognitive Engineer - Remote (US EST Hours)

Join an agile team at FCS Software Solutions as a Cognitive Engineer, playing a vital role in implementing cutting-edge cognitive solutions. We are seeking a skilled professional to build and deploy new cognitive functionalities that are fit-for-purpose, efficient, and of high quality, based on extensive Transversal Analysis and Architecture blueprints for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize cognitive modules for Amelia, or develop new modules with the Product Engineering team to meet required functionalities.
• Analyze and review Transversal Analysis outcomes and target Architecture blueprints.
• Train Amelia for agreed-upon use cases and conduct testing, implementing refinements based on concrete case results.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects and Cognitive Project Leads to define and agree on technical solutions for challenges.
• Develop and functionally test each module to ensure it meets expected behavior standards.
• Work with integration experts to connect developed functional solutions to Automations that interface with back-end systems.
• Review structural changes and developed APIs post-project execution, and collaborate with R&D on standardization opportunities within Amelia.
• Develop and reuse APIs and Automations to integrate Amelia with client systems and security frameworks.
• Create agile work plans for agreed functionalities and validate them with the Cognitive Project Lead.
• Configure Amelia ontologies within agile sprints to address required functionalities.
• Create reusable Amelia modules (e.g., BPNs) and ontologies in local languages.
• Conduct stress tests on new or modified components to ensure they meet technical end-user requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional experience with Java, JavaScript, and/or Groovy Scripting.

This is a remote position requiring adherence to US EST working hours.
