About the Role

The Co-op role supports software quality assurance for regulated medical devices by designing and executing manual and automated tests, validating software tools, and ensuring products meet safety, compliance, performance, and user requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases for embedded software.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, stress, and reliability testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality benchmarks.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, procedures, and results.
• Analyze software requirements and review architectural/design specifications to create use cases.
• Identify gaps in Use Cases/Test Cases and develop robust testing strategies.
• Create and execute comprehensive test designs, generating reports for stakeholders.
• Influence development of test objects to meet protocol needs and evolve device features.
• Participate in product design reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
