Full Job Description
We are seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role is critical for delivering high-quality infrastructure as code solutions across Experian's cloud environment. You will collaborate closely with Software Development teams, Product Managers, and Business Owners to ensure the seamless deployment and ongoing operation of our systems. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for orchestrating provisioning and deployment, automating tools for system health monitoring, and resolving issues across development, testing, and production environments.
You will be responsible for communicating status updates and risks to product teams, contributing to technical planning, code creation, and execution within an Agile framework. Adherence to high-standard policies and procedures, along with effective communication of team progress and roadmaps, will be key to improving delivery quality and efficiency.
This is an individual contributor role. You will be hybrid based in Hyderabad and report to the manager.
Technical Skills – Core:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record in managing workloads within AWS.
- Experience with key architectural principles including high availability, disaster recovery, and platform resiliency.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, YAML, and GIT.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills - Desirable:
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, including Amazon EKS.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems.
- Experience with networking principles.
- Strong discipline in cost management.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of Agile working practices (Scrum, LeSS, Kanban).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and experience with ticket tracking software, particularly ServiceNow.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
