Your Role at SIXT

• Design and deploy robust detection mechanisms within cloud environments to proactively identify and respond to security vulnerabilities and potential threats.
• Conduct in-depth investigations into cloud security incidents, identifying root causes and developing effective response strategies to contain and remediate breaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce stringent security policies and procedures that protect critical systems and data from cyber attacks.
• Implement and manage security monitoring and alerting systems, and perform regular security audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Take ownership of security operations processes, frameworks, and the development of new detection capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with engineers across various locations to integrate security best practices into development and operational workflows.

Your Skills Matter

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Security Operations.
• A strong understanding of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with cloud security concepts including identity and access management, data protection, and network security.
• Proficiency with security tools relevant to cloud environments.
• Experience in Security Operations, including responsibility for processes, frameworks, and building detection mechanisms.
• Experience with the Python programming language is a valuable asset.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present security improvement proposals and detailed plans to leadership.
• Proven experience with incident response tools and methodologies.
