About the Role
As a Cloud Security Engineer at Pega, you will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making within a highly collaborative and innovative environment. You will be an adaptive change agent, contributing to business outcomes through your technical expertise.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust cloud infrastructure using AWS EKS, GCP, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools with Python and Lambda to enhance cloud development efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
- Participate actively in incident management and resolution processes, representing the CSNE team.
- Automate the delivery of solutions to our clients, ensuring speed and reliability.
Who You Are
- You have solid working experience with Kubernetes.
- You are passionate about cloud technologies and possess a strong understanding of AWS core concepts and services.
- You are experienced with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- You are proficient in scripting languages, including Python and Go.
- You have a solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration.
- You understand fundamental cloud security and networking concepts and best practices.
What You've Accomplished
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud development and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Ansible.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud environments, with a strong understanding of cloud security and best practices being a significant advantage.
