Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Experian is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining a robust cloud environment that hosts critical financial services applications for Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in DevOps methodologies, cloud computing, and network engineering, specifically within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Implementing DevOps best practices such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Infrastructure as Code to streamline software deployment for development teams.
• Providing expert support for Azure Cloud Solutions, including deployment pipelines, automation, virtual machines, and Azure PaaS services.
• Investigating and resolving security vulnerabilities within the cloud infrastructure.
• Managing network configurations in the cloud environment, including Network Security Groups, subnets, virtual networks, and firewall rules.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality cloud environments and achieve team objectives.
• Optimizing cloud hosting costs through effective resource provisioning, sizing, and usage monitoring.
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation for the cloud environment and associated support processes.
• Ensuring the cloud environment meets high standards of availability and performance in line with service level commitments.

Required Experience:

• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in core Azure services, including Terraform, Network Security Groups, Entra ID, and Azure Storage.
• Experience with Checkpoint firewalls is a plus.

Qualifications:

• A tertiary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory.
• Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
