Cloud Engineer

About the Role

The Cloud Engineer will join a large healthcare and hospital system's cloud infrastructure team, focusing on Microsoft Azure environments. The primary goal is to improve security, address configuration gaps, and standardize provisioning automation practices.
Immediate Priorities: Investigate and remediate vulnerabilities found via security tools while troubleshooting existing infrastructure.

Your Impact

• Provision and configure Azure subscriptions, networking, servers, and cloud services.
• Build robust Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform to improve consistency.
• Collaborate with security teams to strengthen the organization's overall posture against threats.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in existing Azure environments and support new initiatives.
• Mentor less experienced team members on cloud engineering activities.

Key Qualifications

We are looking for a professional with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, enterprise infrastructure management, and IaC concepts (Terraform preferred). You should possess deep knowledge of Azure networking, identity, security services, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience working in highly regulated industries like healthcare is preferred.
