Full Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Spearhead the identification, testing, and prototyping of solutions and proof-of-concepts on public cloud platforms.
- Contribute to the development of robust architectural standards and guidelines for scalability, performance, resilience, and efficient operations, ensuring strict adherence to security and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with application development teams to automate repeatable tasks and actively participate in root cause analysis activities.
- Design and architect cloud solutions leveraging industry-leading DevSecOps best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
- Conduct thorough reviews of software product designs to ensure alignment with architectural best practices, and participate in regular implementation reviews to maintain consistent quality and adherence to internal standards.
- Engage closely with cross-functional leaders, including platform engineers, software development teams, product management, and business leaders, to gain a comprehensive understanding of business and technical needs. Jointly determine optimal strategies by evaluating the benefits and costs of various approaches.
- Work collaboratively with implementation teams to ensure a clear understanding and utilization of the most effective approaches.
What You'll Bring:
- 1-4 years of experience in an Infrastructure Engineering, Software Engineering, or DevOps role, with a proven track record of deploying and maintaining SaaS applications.
- 1-4 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, complemented by at least one cloud proficiency certification.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with key AWS services including Lambda, S3, RDS, EMR, CloudFormation (or Terraform), CodeBuild, Config, Systems Manager, ServiceCatalog, and Lambda.
- Proficiency in building automation solutions using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience working with and contributing to software application development, deployment, and management processes.
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions with a strong focus on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery requirements.
- Experience working within agile development teams with a focus on short release cycles.
- Excellent verbal, written, and team presentation communication skills. Fluency in English is essential for this global role.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to remain flexible and responsive in a highly dynamic environment.
- Capacity to navigate ambiguity and develop resilient, robust solutions.
- Experience in delivering high-quality work on defined tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to rapidly acquire proficiency in new platforms, cloud technologies, languages, tools, and techniques as required by project demands.
