Cloud Engineer

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Cloud Engineer with DevOps expertise to join our Hybrid Cloud team in Hyderabad, Telangana. This is an onsite role focused on leading innovation and shaping the technology roadmap for HPE's next-generation cloud platform, GreenLake. You will collaborate with customers to reimagine their IT needs, delivering consumable solutions that drive business results.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure and servers.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment and integration.
• Automate routine operational tasks using scripting and relevant tools.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply necessary updates.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Ensure system security and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to enhance deployment processes.
• Utilize Helm package and Argo CD for deployment orchestration.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in system management scripting languages such as Python and shell scripting.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker containers, and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration.
• Experience with automation/configuration management tools like Ansible or Salt-Stack.
• Familiarity with cloud services including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, Cloud Formation, Cloud Trail, Route 53, RDS, SQS, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab Runner).
• Experience with Git for source control.
• Knowledge of Agile processes and proven experience in Agile/Scrum DevOps environments.
• Flexibility for occasional work hour adjustments to facilitate communication with US time zones.
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance best practices.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization across multiple systems.
