Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure / Site Reliability Engineer (IaaS)

Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)

Salary: ₹4,000,000 - ₹5,500,000 INR (₹40 - ₹55 Lakhs)

A leading global engineering organization is making substantial investments in its cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities. We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure / IaaS Engineer to join a distributed reliability engineering team. This team is responsible for the design, operation, and enhancement of critical cloud services. The role involves collaborating within an international reliability engineering group to build and maintain the infrastructure supporting large-scale applications and internal platforms. This position merges infrastructure engineering with software-driven automation, requiring you to improve existing systems and develop tooling to automate operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to design and optimize cloud-based infrastructure.
• Automate deployment and configuration processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for critical services.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents and actively participate in root cause analysis.
• Enhance system reliability through capacity planning, performance tuning, and operational automation.
• Define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and reliability metrics for platform services.
• Contribute to on-call rotations for production infrastructure support.
• Participate in architecture reviews and infrastructure design discussions.

Technology Environment:

You will work with a modern cloud infrastructure stack, including:

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure (core services), Virtual Machines, Load Balancers, Storage, Backup and Recovery, Disaster Recovery tooling.
• Infrastructure as Code & DevOps: Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, Infrastructure automation frameworks.
• Containers & Platform Engineering: Kubernetes (AKS, EKS), Docker.
• Observability & Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, Moogsoft.
• Security & Networking: Next-generation network security, Palo Alto security platforms, Aqua security solutions, Cloud networking, Traffic management.

Technical Skills Required:

We are looking for engineers with a strong blend of systems knowledge and cloud automation expertise:

• Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience managing Azure infrastructure, virtual machines, load balancers, backup/restore systems, patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure security practices.
• Systems Engineering: Advanced troubleshooting skills for Linux and Windows operating systems, with a deep understanding of OS behavior and performance diagnostics.
• Infrastructure Automation: Proficiency in provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools, and experience in scripting with languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Cloud Networking & Security: Familiarity with cloud networking architectures, security controls, and experience with enterprise-grade security platforms and monitoring frameworks.
