Full Job Description
This role requires a Cloud Digital Security Ops Specialist with 4 to 6 years of experience, preferably an Engineering Graduate (B.E./B.Tech) in IT or Computer Engineering, based in Bengaluru (BLR). You will be part of the Cloud Compliance team, focusing on Cloud Security Controls & Procedures. Your responsibilities will include driving improvements aligned with corporate security policies, ensuring conformity with Enterprise Security Protection Baselines (ESPB) guidelines, and contributing to the organization's agile transformation.
Key tasks involve remediation enablement, where you'll analyze critical security alerts and findings, conduct root cause analysis for systemic issues, and develop remediation action plans. You will also support application teams in understanding security alerts and prioritizing remediation. An essential part of the role is performing ad-hoc cyber audits on public cloud infrastructure, assessing security controls like guardrails, hardening, logging, vulnerability, and obsolescence management.
You will be responsible for raising awareness on cloud cybersecurity among application owners and communicating security capabilities. Additionally, you'll identify and assess cyber security blind spots, manage projects to deploy missing security capabilities, and ensure their successful integration and support handover. Defining required security controls for cloud service compliance and ensuring their quality within the company context will be crucial.
Required skills include excellent English communication and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in understanding complex systems, and the capacity to deal with all organizational levels. A passion for emerging technologies, strong analytical and technical capabilities, and knowledge of cyber security best practices are essential. Experience with cloud security compliance standards, general cybersecurity standards, and Cloud Security Engineering is expected. Mandatory technical knowledge includes AWS and/or GCP, with Azure being a plus. Cloud SecOps skills such as vulnerability and obsolescence management are also mandatory.
