Cloud Customer Solution Engineer

Join our dynamic Cloud Customer Solutions team in Bengaluru and play a pivotal role in ensuring customer success throughout their cloud journey. As a Cloud Customer Solution Engineer, you will be the primary technical liaison, blending solution architecture, customer engagement, and technical account management. Your responsibilities will span solution design, customer onboarding, ongoing support, and scaling of cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Discovery & Engagement

  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer workloads, architectures, and business goals.
  • Design and document comprehensive cloud solutions encompassing compute (CPU/GPU), storage, networking, and security.
  • Execute proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements, benchmarks, and validations to demonstrate value.
  • Develop compelling architecture diagrams, solution proposals, and technical walkthroughs.

Customer Onboarding & Technical Account Ownership

  • Own the technical onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth and successful initial deployment.
  • Serve as the principal technical account manager for enterprise clients.
  • Proactively monitor customer environments, identify potential risks, and recommend optimizations.

Incident Management & Escalations

  • Drive troubleshooting and resolution of incidents in close collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Manage escalations effectively, track service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure timely customer communication during critical events.

Customer Engagement & Growth

  • Support customer adoption, scaling, and expansion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams on renewals, upgrades, and commercial discussions.
  • Conduct regular technical check-ins and strategic reviews with clients.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a crucial bridge between customers and internal teams including Sales, Product, and Engineering.
  • Provide structured customer feedback to influence the product roadmap and feature prioritization.

Process, Documentation & Standardization

  • Create and maintain essential technical documentation, including runbooks, onboarding guides, and solution templates.
  • Standardize customer delivery processes to enhance consistency and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 13 years of experience in cloud engineering, solutions engineering, technical support, or customer success roles.
  • A solid understanding of cloud fundamentals, including compute, storage, networking, and security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills.
