Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cloud & Security Operations Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to manage and support our cloud infrastructure, production systems, and IT operations. This role demands strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Linux, Networking, and Security, complemented by solid exposure to IT administration, auditing processes, and operational best practices. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, process-oriented, and capable of managing production environments with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Production systems hosted on AWS Cloud.
• Provision, configure, and monitor cloud resources to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of all production systems.
• Monitor system health proactively and respond effectively to production incidents.
• Support backup, restore, and Disaster Recovery (DR) processes, including conducting periodic DR drills.
• Maintain comprehensive operational and infrastructure documentation.
• Lead vulnerability identification and remediation activities to maintain system security.
• Manage and support on-premise servers and office IT infrastructure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot office network connectivity, ensuring seamless operations.
• Manage switches, routers, firewalls, and internal network access controls.
• Address LAN/WAN connectivity issues and coordinate with vendors for timely resolution.
• Ensure the availability and security of office systems and network services.

Mandatory Skills

• AWS Services: Proficient in EC2, VPC, IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, Auto Scaling, ALB / NLB, S3, EBS, Snapshots, AMI, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, AWS Certificate Manager, KMS, WAF, CloudFront, SNS, SES.
• Linux & System Administration: Expertise in administering and monitoring Linux-based production servers, managing services and resources, performing OS patching, analyzing logs, troubleshooting system issues, and implementing system hardening and security best practices.
• Networking: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancing, and routing for diagnosing and resolving network-level issues in production environments.
• Security Operations: Experience in managing IAM users, roles, and permissions, enforcing least-privilege access, monitoring security logs and alerts, performing vulnerability assessments and patching, securely managing credentials and certificates, and supporting security and compliance requirements across all systems.

Supporting Skills & Knowledge

• IT Administration: Experience administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including user management, access control, licenses, and security policies.
• DNS & SSL: Skilled in managing domains, DNS records, and SSL/TLS certificate installation and renewal.
• Database (MySQL): Ability to perform basic MySQL administration, including backups, restores, and database health monitoring.
• Incident Management & RCA: Capable of owning production incident handling, performing root cause analysis (RCA), documenting corrective actions, participating in post-incident reviews, and implementing preventive measures.
• Auditing & IT Procedures: Adherence to IT policies and SOPs, supporting internal and external audits, assisting with audit evidence collection, maintaining compliance documentation, and ensuring process adherence.

Good to Have

• Exposure to ISO 27001 or similar compliance frameworks.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization.
• Skills in performance and resource tuning.
• Automation exposure (shell scripting).
• Strong documentation practices.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

• Holds a graduate or post-graduate degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics (B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, etc.) or possesses relevant professional experience.
• Has at least 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Cloud and Security Operations.
