About the Role

• Hands-on engineering with LLMs, RAG, agents, or GenAI applications (substantial hobby projects count).
• Strong Python skills; comfortable using LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, DSPy, or plain code as appropriate.
• Practical experience with major clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP) and vector databases (Pinecone/Weaviate/pgvector).
• Solid data engineering fundamentals: SQL, messy enterprise data, ETL pipelines for structured/unstructured data.
• Model evaluation, prompt engineering, fine-tuning (LoRA/SFT), and tradeoffs between open/closed-weight models.
• Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps tooling (MLflow/W&B/LangSmith).
• Experience deploying in regulated environments is a plus. Prior roles as FDE/Solutions Architect/Applied AI Engineer valued.
• Open-source contributions or public GenAI portfolio required.
• Building agentic systems with tool use, multi-agent orchestration, and human-in-the-loop design.
