In this vital role, you will provide essential clinical and technical support within a hospital setting, leveraging advanced EP technology to treat cardiac arrhythmias. You will collaborate closely with physicians and hospital staff to optimize patient outcomes, contributing to Abbott's mission of helping people live more fully.

This position offers a structured training program focused on foundational knowledge of Electrophysiology (EP) with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and practical application. You will gain experience providing regional EP procedural case coverage in Electrophysiology labs and operating rooms.

Key responsibilities include acting as a clinical interface between the medical community and Abbott, building and sustaining credible clinical relationships with customers, and demonstrating a thorough command of all EP products, including their technical details, software utilization, and capabilities. You will provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support on the safe and effective use of Abbott EP products, such as cardiac mapping, diagnostic, and therapy systems.

You will support EP Sales Representatives in various capacities, including collaboration, facilitating regional training seminars, participating in clinical studies and data collection, troubleshooting, and leading/supporting new product in-service trainings and demonstrations. Continuous development of engineering, sales, and technical skills aligned with territory strategy is crucial, involving learning from senior sales personnel and management. Staying informed about industry developments, regulatory requirements, and maintaining strong knowledge of company and competitor products, market trends, and strategic goals are essential. You will also provide valuable feedback to management on market trends and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and guide next-generation product development. Occasional travel for in-person instruction and live procedure coverage is expected.
