Job Overview: CIS Functional SME / QA Specialist

We are seeking an experienced CIS Functional SME / QA Specialist to support our client's Oracle Utilities environments, specifically CCS, C2M, and CC&B. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in the utility revenue lifecycle and a rigorous approach to system validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage functional aspects of Customer Information Systems (CIS), including billing, payments, credit/collections, and meter data management.
• Design and execute complex end-to-end billing scenarios and validate system outputs against business requirements.
• Perform comprehensive defect analysis, including identifying root causes for To-Dos and system exceptions.
• Lead and support SIT, UAT, and unit testing cycles to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate across functional and technical teams to identify gaps and validate API performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Domain Expertise: Proven experience in Oracle Utilities (CCS, C2M, CC&B) within the electricity, gas, or water sectors.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong background in functional testing, test case design, and defect management.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on configuration dependencies and business workflows.
• Education: B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
